Early Entry
Places in this program are offered to children from our Preschool and from other early childhood education programs that will be completing their primary education at Southern Montessori School. Places are limited and will only be offered if available. The Early Entry Program has two main intakes: in Week 1 of Term 1 and, where a vacancy exists, a second intake may occur in Week 1 of Term 3.
As these children approach their fifth birthday, their readiness for school entry will be considered. To assist with their transition to Reception they will take part in a comprehensive orientation program over five weeks of the preceding term.
SESSION DETAILS
The program will run five days a week from 8:50am - 12:30pm. Full days may be offered, in negotiation with parents, based on the child's readiness for the extended program.

ENROLMENT DETAILS
Applications will be processed in order of receipt by year and program, with priority given to students: whose families have an existing commitment to the school especially those transferring from other programs run by the Centre; who are siblings of existing students or are children of former students who are transferring from other Montessori Schools or Centres.
