Welcome to Heather and Michelle's Cycle 2 Class
Welcome back for Term 4. The children are all very keen to be at school and full of holiday news to share.
We have already started our main topic for this term, Aboriginal Studies. Alison's class will be working with us to create our own stories similar to the Dreamtime narratives. The children will be exploring Aboriginal culture with Michelle and we are extremely lucky to have the opportunity to work with two Aboriginal artists to create some art work.
Some important dates for this term are:
- Week 4 - Primary Sports Day
- Week 5 - Swimming
- Week 6 - Aboriginal Studies Camp
- Week 7 - Tennis
We are looking forward to a great term.
Thank you to everyone who was able to come to assembly at the end of Term 3 to watch our plays. The children really enjoy drama and I was very impressed with their performances. The children certainly demonstrated their ability to speak confidently in public and to support each other in their groups. Here are a few photographs from our plays.
