Recently we celebrated National Science Week at school.
Science is an integral part of the Montessori Cultural Studies Curriculum with students constantly engaging with scientific learning. For this special national week each class celebrated Science differently in their classrooms and then shared their learning with the other classes at assembly. We heard about local walks exploring plants in our garden, were treated to songs, and answered quizzes. It was lovely to celebrate as a school community the scientific learning that occurs in our classrooms and to see the students’ enthusiasm.
Here are some pictures from assembly.
